Critical care teams work with narrow margins. The technologies we supply to intensive care units are chosen because they change a measurable outcome — vasopressor requirement, time on support, or the safety of a bedside procedure.

Where technology changes ICU outcomes

Most ICU interventions are supportive. The exceptions — the ones worth introducing new equipment for — either remove a driver of deterioration, shorten time on organ support, or reduce the complication rate of a routine procedure.

Our critical care portfolio is built around those three tests: adjunctive blood purification for refractory septic shock, a paediatric-specific circuit for children, and closed chest drainage designed for safe bedside management on the ward and in the unit.
