OVERVIEW
About this product
MedLED Chrome is the flagship of the MedLED range. Like Spectra it is truly cordless — the LED module, battery and controls are carried on the headband itself, so there is no fibre-optic cable tethering the surgeon to a light source and no cable to drag across the drapes or fail mid-case.
Chrome uses interchangeable bezels rather than a fixed optic. The same headband accepts an E-Class, Crossover or Premium bezel, so a department can match brightness, spot size and runtime to the procedure — clinic and minor procedures through to full operating room lists — while standardising on one platform and one battery.
The headband is built for long lists: weight is balanced front to back, the pads are cushioned and replaceable, and brightness is adjusted on the band without breaking sterility. Batteries are hot-swappable, so a spare pack keeps the unit running through back-to-back cases.
